Well for those of you who don't know, our cute little pet frog Icky passed away last week. I know that most of you had the chance to meet him and if not I'm sure you would have liked to.
He joined the Joni Sorenson family in June 2005. While at Art City days there was a little booth where you could win frogs by tossing balls into a cup. Jamie, my sister, can verify that my shot was right on. My first toss sunk straight into the cup and I won a little frog. At first glace he seemed a little gross so I named him Icabod Sorenson, Icky for short. He lived in a tall clear cylinder vase so he couldn't jump out. When Rocky and I were married Rocky decided that he was too cute and that he must also have the Wright last name. He soon became Icabod Sorenson-Wright. He was a sweet little frog who loved life. He could be seen swimming ferociously from the bottom to the top of his home. Or on his lazy days he would just float at the top of his home in the Zen position. On super lazy days he would sink to the bottom of his home and hide in the rocks. This caused a scare for his babysitters who frequently thought he was dead. The past few months have been a struggle for Icky. He hasn't been himself and often looked dead. To be sure we would often give him a little poke. Sure enough he wasn't dead yet. But this past week while we were gone he passed away. We loved him lots and will have fond memories of our little frog.
