Logan's first birthday

Logan you are 1 - it is so crazy.  I feel like you are still just my teeny weeny little boy.  I probably still treat you that way a little too.  The days are going by too fast.

Your stats are the following:  weight - 19lbs 14 oz - 11%
                                               height - 29.5 inches - 30 %
                                                head - 18 inches - 30%

We saw a new Dr. this time and didn't have nearly the wait we had with the other.  He said you are just a healthy little guy.  You did get two immunization shots.  Those are always a bummer.  James was totally feeling your pain for you.  Every time he would see your two little bandaids he would sweetly say "oh, my poor Loagie" and he would try to be so tender.

Your food favorites right now are bananas, yogurt, cheese and raisens.  Seems like you tolerate the other stuff I give you okay.  If you don't like it you usually through it on the floor and shake you head (the no shake).  Probably because you know that I will say "No Logan."
You aren't so much a fan of milk yet - but really I'm not either so I don't blame you.

You dad taught you the fist pump which you do very well.  If we say "YES" you do the pump.  It is sooo cute.

You are still crawling  - even faster than before.  I don't think you will be walking anytime soon.

You like to wrestle, such a boy thing.  You don't like to wrestle with James - he is still too rough with you.  But wrestling with mom and dad is just so awesome for you.

You have a distinctive yell for when you want something.

You love to pull on the doors of the fireplace cover.  In fact for your birthday that is what you chose to do instead of opening your presents.  Luckily big brother was there to help you out.

You sleep from 6:00pm ish to 7:30am ish.  You still take two naps.

You are learning how to drink out of a cup.  I've tried giving you a sippy cup and while you seem to get that it goes in your mouth - I don't think you know what to do after that.

You still kick your little legs like crazy - especially if you are excited.

You love that little boy in the mirror and always give him kisses.

You try to use the ipad like the rest of us.  But you really aren't interested in watching shows.

You want to play with anything James is playing with and he wants to play with anything and everything you are playing with.  This is often difficult.

You are climbing - you love to climb on big brothers bed.  You surprised me a little at Grandma Sorenson's house.  You climbed into her laundry basket and started yelling when you couldn't get out. You are pretty good at climbing up the stairs.  Going down is still a problem.

You are pretty quick with the toilet paper rolls and also sticking you hand in the toilet.  We now keep those doors closed and the toilet paper rolls up high.

You love watching the washing machine.

You really aren't saying too many words.  Mama, ball, dada everyonce in a while but not regularly.

You went through some major stranger anxiety for a little bit but I think you are doing a little better now - Thanks Boppy!

I know I am forgetting so many fun new things you are doing and learning and it kills me.  But you are doing and learning and growing and just so darn fun.
