Wahoooooo....I think
Here are the latest stats
Me
- bigger than ever. Even the maternity clothes are feeling the stretch.
- cankles used to shrink at night time, now they are a permanent feature.
- sorry if this is too much to share, but I feel like I'm carrying around a 15 lb. bowling ball in the lower regions. I REALLY hope the baby isn't that big
- I'm dilated to a one
- I can put a duck's waddle to shame
- I sometimes forget that I am pregnant until I try to move, then it becomes quite obvious I am.
- Luckily I'm still sleeping, but the bathroom breaks are growing in number.
Rocky
- hasn't gained one pound of sympathy weight
- has a new love of ear plugs (apparently I breathe a little too loud at night time)
- is also amazed at the size in which my body has grown
- learned from the Dr. how to check my cervix, although I don't know that either of us are comfortable trying this at home.
- was able to get ahead in school so he can enjoy some baby time
- has become my personal chauffeur - and now drops me off and picks me up in front of the building I work in.
The Boy's room
- just got the carpet cleaned (thanks Jacque)
- still needs paint
- still needs a lot of work.

Good for Rocky for discovering the ear plugs. They may come in handy post baby as well. Eric still uses them when he's worked a night shift, etc.

You're getting so close! So...not to get your hopes up, but I went into labor at 38 1/2 weeks with E, so maybe if you do some serious walking up and down some huge flights of stairs you will only be pregnant for another week!
Oh Joni, I feel for ya. It doesn't seem fair that we gain all the weight. Where's the sympathy? I guess the only reason I am glad that it is still freezing cold weather is so that you are more comfortable. I'm sure you still get hot flashes at night though. I think you look adorable btw:)
I can't believe your DH hasn't gained a pound! Is he feeling any sympathy at all?? j/k You look awesome :) Hang in there. The end is near!
