Sometimes even when you are super careful things happen. Things that you don't want to happen happen. This thing I am talking about is stitches....our new little couch had an unfortunate little accident on the way downstairs. While turning the corner to go into the family room it rubbed the wall a little too hard causing it's fabric to rip. (gasp!) I know, it sounds awful. Luckily for our little couch we have a budding medical student in the house and he happened to have some sutures on hand. He got right to work and the little couch's tear was stitched up in a jiffy. 4 stitches to be exact. We were lucky that the couch needed no anesthetic as we don't have any on hand. Couch is now well on its way to a full recovery...well okay it will have the stitches forever but we will call that a full recovery here at this house.

Send that surgeon down my way! I have a couch that Ian keeps pulling the stuffing out of. What a great hubby you have.
I could use a little of that handy work myself! However, I couldn't promise the stitches would last forever. The three little reasons my couch is ripped in the first place would probably rip them right out again :P
